This antique 1920 or earlier Six cameos bracelet is a magnificent piece of jewelry, beautiful, artistic, in impeccable condition. Each of the six shell cameos is prong set in an oval sterling silver medallion that is embellished with delicate and shiny marcasite stones placed safely on the silver medallions.
Each of the 6 cameos is a tiny piece of art featuring 6 different young women or fairies, dancing. The six graces/ goddesses/ maidens are carved marvelously and their proportions are perfect and very romantic.
This antique bracelet is an elegant and rare jewelry that is hard to find and will be a treasure to keep or wear in any occasion.
There are no marks for sterling silver on the bracelet. The acid testing shows sterling silver. There is a mark, possibly maker’s mark, on the clasp. I could not figure out completely the writing.
Total length of the bracelet is 7.25”. Width of the bracelet is 1”.
Weight is 24.22 grams, a good weight to give the bracelet stability on the wrist.
Condition is beautiful, no chips, dents, scratches, cracks. It was well kept and ready to wear again by a new owner.
