Handmade Professional Flower/Leaf Press or a Wood Book Press w/ Wooden Crank Top

Description

A professional flower/leaf press or a wooden book press that was handcrafted. The press features a wooden framework with a rotatable handle to its top that is used to raise and lower its wooden pressing plate. It includes flower pressing papers and cardboard.  The pressing papers have been used and are stained, and may need to be replaced with new watercolor type paper.  The pressing area is approximately 8.5 X 8.5 inches.  Additionally, there is room for additional layers of pressing papers.
The wooden pressing plate has wooden cross bars to provide strength and even distribution of compression.  This creates a more uniform pressing of flowers/leafs/plants or book pages.  The overall construction is sturdy and size of the base is about 12 X12 inches.
It should be noted that an ART BOOK Designer/Artist can also use this item for folding and creasing pages.....
