For a long time astronomers have looked 500 million light years into space.
Now they can see twice as far.
For the big 200-inch Mount Palomar telescope – actually the world’s largest camera – will bring in light from stars a billion light years away, about six sextillion miles.
Thus, science continuously makes spectacular use of photography in penetrating the unknown.
All of these camera publications and cameras, old film, camera parts and hardware and developing hardware was found in my uncle's attic.
Some was found in a chest of drawers in the dining room.
