Presented is an antique c. 1920s-30s bracelet made in Germany of 935 silver & enamel.
It is made of 4 large panels, each featuring a different chinoiserie scene (some with figures).
These are executed over a background of fine concentric lines which makes the enamel radiate light (an especially cool effect on the water that appears in each scene!).
The scenes are framed by intense cobalt blue enamel.
I like the Deco zigzags between each link.
The original V-spring box clasp is decorated with a narrow panel of red striped agate with beveled edges.
This has its original safety clasp.
A stunning example of German enamel work with rare subject matter.
