    Description

Please email with any questions. Vintage printed program from the PAGEANT OF SPEED! at the 21st Annual Convention of Kiwanis International in Indianapolis, June 1937. 10 1/2" by 4 3/4" cover, this is printed in black on bright orange paper. Inside are images of T E (Pop) Meyers, 1934 Indy 500 winner Bill Cummings and 1915 winner Ralph DePalma- all of whom participated on the day. Vintage cars like the Marmon Wasp and the National ran around the track that day and the crowd was treated to a tire changing contest, bands on parade as well as several "bombs" which I am guessing refer to the iconic cannon blasts that are an Indy Raceway tradition. Program has some faint fold lines, water spotting and wear.
