Vintage Bakelite Galloping Golf Dice Game Old Dutch Refining Marathon Oil in Box

Description

Vintage Bakelite "Galloping Golf" dice game in original leatherette case with instructions.  Case is marked with "Old Dutch Refining Co. Muskegon, Michigan".  The Bakelite dice have subtle marbling.
Old Dutch Refining Co. was started in 1929 during Muskegon County Michigan's short-lived boom.  It survived the end of the boom and continued to refine oil from other parts of the country as Old Dutch until the 1950's when it became Aurora Gasoline Co.  It then became Marathon Oil Company in 1960 and shut down in 1966.
Vintage item in good condition with wear to the case and minor wear and scuffing to the dice.  The instructions are fragile and coming apart at the folds.  Please see photos.

Bakelite has been Simi-chrome tested.
