    Description

    Original vintage photograph.
    It measures approximately
    3 x 4 1/2
    Inches.
This photograph is of politruk Nikolai Fedorovich Rozhkov. He was in RKKA since 1931, during WWII he was awarded the order of the Red Star, "for combat services" medal, and the order of the great patriotic war 2nd class, most awards were for the success in the labor field, he was in charge of a labor battalion.
Interesting fact: During WWII German soldiers were ordered not to take any political commissars as prisoners by the German high command, and execute them on the spot because they were considered enforcers of "Judeo-Bolshevism" ideology in the military forces.
