It measures approximately

Inches. This photograph is of a senior battalion political commissar Dmitriy Andreyevich Logachev. He died in February 1943 because of a sickness.
Interesting fact: During WWII German soldiers were ordered not to take any political commissars as prisoners by the German high command, and execute them on the spot because they were considered enforcers of "Judeo-Bolshevism" ideology in the military forces.
